The Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer, is the longest day. of the year. This is the first day of Astronomical Summer and occurs as the sun reaches its most northerly or southerly path in the sky. It's a time for festivities, social gatherings, and various traditions that reflect the abundance and energy of the sun at its peak.
