The RED HEART Movement and Yhurwun Bullan are co-ordinating a national event for women and girls impacted by violence & their allies.
One Spirit One Heart will be held on Saturday, October 25, during National Domestic and Family Violence Month.
It is the dream of Yhurwun Bullan’s Aunty Tanya Keed (Ngunnawal/Canberra). For ALL Australian women and girls – from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to multicultural communities, gender diverse and non-binary people, queer women & girls and women and girls of all abilities, ages and faiths. Women and girls from the Palestinian community will be especially welcome. Based around the First Nations tradition of women gathering in circles to yarn (talk), this event will see us gather in cities and regional centres to tell our stories of trauma and healing.
